The question has often been asked why the wright brother were to succed

In an effort in which so many other had failed.

Many explainations have been offered,but there reasons are most often cited.

First,they were a team.Both man worked well together,read the same book

Located and shared information,talked about incassantly about the possiblity of manned flight,and the served as a consistent source of inspiration

And encouragment to each other.

Quit simply,two geniuses are beter than one.

They were also both gider pilots.Unlike some other engineers who experimented

With theories of flight,orville and wilbur wright experinced the practical side of their work by building and flying in kites and gliders.

Each craft was slightly better than the last,incorating in theknowledge

That they had gained from previous failures.

They had realized from their experiment that the most serious problem and manned flight would be stabilizing and mneuvering the aircraft once it was airbone.

While others concentrated their efforts on the problem of the achieving lift for take-off,the wright brothers focused developing a there axis control for the air craft.By the time that the brothers stated to build an airplane,they were already among the best glider pilots in the world,and they knew the problems of flying firs hand.

In addition,the wright brothers had designed more effective wings for airplane than had been previously engineered.

Using a wind tunnel,the tested more than two hubdred different wing designs,

In spite of all these advantages,how ever,the wright brothers might not have succeded had they not been born at peciesly the oportune moment in history.Attempts to achieve manned flight in the early ninetenth century were domeed because the steam engines that powered the aircrafts were to heavy in proportion to the power that they produced.

But by the end of nineteenth century ,when the brothers were experimenting with engeneering option a relatively light internal combustion engine had already been inventad,and they were able to bring the ratio of weight to power within acceptable limits for flight.
